When I add excercises in my log my allowable daily calorie requirement does not change automatically. Should it?

Short answer, no. Adding exercises (burned calories) should NOT affect your daily calorie requirement.

Your total allowed calorie limit is set and will not be affected by your exercises.

For example, if your total allowed calorie limit was set to 1,000 and you burned 200 calories doing an exercise, your allowed calorie limit will still be 1,000.

This was something we had to consider when figuring this all out. The research we found showed that it was a big "no-no" to add your burned calories to your total allowed calories.

Thank You for the question!
