Walking for weight loss?

Hello all: I am trying to walk for weight loss. My goal is to walk off a pound a week, which I know is 3,500 calories. My confusion is how does this work? How much walking per week would I have to do? I am 250 lbs, 5'9" and a female. Is this even possible?

Walking and running are great to lose weight quickly...I love to walk daily early in the morning...

I think Walking is best for weight lose quickly..But proper diet plan is must with walking or running...

Walking and running daily is the best way to lose extra fats..But if you add proper diet plan with it then you get results quickly..

Running also helps you to burn great amount of calories, running for half an hour burns 250-300 calories.
