My Story

For the past 8 years I have been a powerwalker who has entered and completed 6 half marathons as well as numerous other races. Before that I was very inactive and was chronically overweight. Because of the walking I have changed the tone of my body and 40 lbs. I began this journey at 58years old and now I look younger than when I first started to powerwalk. I want to lose 10lbs now and so I am going to be accountable for what I put into this mouth. In the next 6 weeks I will be walking each day for at least one hour. I will also be on holidays and drinking more wine than usual. ....hopefully, I will still lose at least a couple of lbs....we will see

My Goals For This Year:

10 lbs of fat....no muscle loss
