Someone just submitted a great suggestion and while I have some ideas, I thought it would be great to let you all get in on the development side of this.

>> A way for friends to read past journal entries <<

Some Ideas:

You already have a choice of displaying your Daily Journal within your profile page, should you also have a choice to have it displayed within your Support Group page?

Thinking of how your recent journal entry is already displayed within your Profile Page, what kind of controls do you envision to allow your friends to see your past journal entries?

How about just redoing the whole system so it acts more like a blog, that can have comments? Your most recent journal entree would still be displayed within your Profile Page, but would be linked to your Blog Page.

I am in the middle of developing some other features of the site right now, so this gives us a little time to get in some ideas.

I love the link blog idea. Would work great for your site. Looking at popular social network sites most of them have blog areas that work out great.

So would the journal and blog be converted into one feature? Or should I keep them separate?

Well I would not mind it being one, but I think we should have control of who gets to read it, because some people see the journal as private while others like myself would use it as a feedback tool for support and encouragement.
